The Community News is running a story about Mulch Day.

"Weiner and 15 residents met at the park, located at the Talley Day Park in Brandywine Hundred, on Nov. 10 to spread mulch, which they have done twice a year since the park opened four years ago."

A new bill in Pennsylvania, HB-1065, would stop owners from tying up their dogs between 10pm and 6am.  It should be voted on in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives soon.  The SPCA, and other animal rights activists are asking people to contact their representatives.

South Chesapeake City, MD, recently had a pet parade on Nov 17.  "Welcoming Santa to Town" paraded along Bohemia Ave, and ended at Pell Gardens.
